2002 Cabernet Sauvignon

The challenge of Cabernet on the Ridge is to get it ripe. There are years when we sell the wine off in bulk. But when it does mature it is glorious, flush with vine-ripened blackberry and black current, herbal green olive and tobacco, incisive cedar and menthol, and an elegant suppleness that dazzles. As Ray Charles used to say, "Uh huh!"
